Asahikawa Winter Festival, themed Festival of Snow, Ice and Light, is a major event held every February. Visitors can enjoy the world's largest scale snow sculpture, which is registered in the Guinness Book of Records, ice sculptures, snow activities, and Asahikawa's gourmet food.
