Asahikawa Winter Festival

Asahikawa Winter Festival, themed Festival of Snow, Ice and Light, is a major event held every February. Visitors can enjoy the world's largest scale snow sculpture, which is registered in the Guinness Book of Records, ice sculptures, snow activities, and Asahikawa's gourmet food.
At night, the ice sculptures are lit up and the projection mapping on a special stage is breathtaking♪

Canmore Ski Village

Canmore Ski Village, which offers plenty of fun for beginners and advanced skiers alike, is a 20-minute drive from Asahikawa City.

The Sounkyo Hot Springs Ice Fall Festival is an ice kingdom on the banks of the Ishikari River, which boasts an area of approximately 10,000 square meters.
The various ice sculptures, ice observatory, and ice dome that can be created because of the extreme cold of Hokkaido are very impressive!
At night, the seven-colored lights create a fantastic sight, creating a completely different atmosphere than during the day.
